_ MAKE SOMETHING BIG
- ORIGINAL DESIGN
CONCEPTUAL IDEA AND PROCESS_ The iadea for the assigment of this week, was to create and learn how to do the joints without any nail. For this excerce I take and use the wikiouse technique and this is because in the doing of something big the structural problems comes and create weak joints is a fundamental piece for this.
OPEN SOURCE DRAWS_ using theopen source information of a wkihouse project, I take the parts of waht i need. For the assigmente i create a bench that can take many diferents configuration.

PROTOTYPES AND JOINTS_ After the design process I start to do a scale prototype to make sure that the system works and a thing it. And somehow, the joints works good , with sompe problems od scale and thin of the material, which, I improvement in the second Prototype.
MACHINING AND FABRICATION OF THE BENCH_ After make the mock and the study of the joint, I jump to the scale 1:1 where is very different, from cut with laser. The first change is the details on the corners, this because the dimention of the mill and for his caracteristics the design have the I shape for better join with others. The second trouble was that the little ones pieces of the system, where to small and star to jump of the cutting bed. This because the lost of the suction of the plywood was not enough, so we nail them to the sacrifice board.
ASSEMBLY AND FINAL PIECE_ after fabrication come the other part of assembly. after the check of joints and if they work and change design. come the piece assembly where the main issue was the logic to do it. this as in other press-fit joints when you start looks simple and fit all the parts but when you are finishing the parts star to press with a lot of force. and the use of force is neccesary.
a.-design the general bench and dimension the project
b.- generate the parts of the design that need prototypes to success with it
c.- generate the cutting sheets with a separation of one inch between them
d.- check of the prototype and re-draw the mistakes
e.-finish the final model in vector draw
f.- generate the cutting sheets with a separation of one inch between them
g.-make sure that the plywood is well stable during the cutting.
h.- check the speed and the mill to use for cutting
i.- pick all the pieces and brush them for cleaner piece
j.- assembly as you did in the prototype stage
